About eaglecheck

eaglecheck is an independent Australian software business, based in Queensland. We provide one API for checking age, liveness, identity and image content, and a website where you can try every check in your browser before you ever talk to us.

Why we built it

Verification in Australia usually means one of two bad options: make your customers hand over identity documents to a chain of intermediaries, or sign up with an enterprise vendor whose pricing starts with a sales call. We think most age and identity questions can be answered from a face, in seconds, without storing anything, and that the price of a check should be public.

How we operate

• Nothing is retained. Images are processed and discarded. We do not build face databases and we do not keep biometrics. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
• Australian infrastructure.The platform runs in AWS's Sydney region, and we operate under the Australian Privacy Act.
• Public pricing. Per-check prices are on the pricing page. No minimums, no sales-call gate.
• Try before you talk to anyone. The live demo runs the same API we sell, on your own camera.
• Direct answers. Questions go straight to the people who build and run the platform, not a ticket queue. We typically reply within one business day.
