How is the age returned?
The model returns a predicted age range, a low and a high bound. The midpoint of that range is normally used as the single estimated age, but you can read the bounds directly and apply your own logic.
Can we make the decision ourselves?
Yes. Set your own threshold and let eaglecheck return a pass or fail, or have it return just the raw predicted age range so your own system applies its rules.
Do customers need to upload an ID?
No. Age is estimated directly from a face, so there’s no document scan, faster for the customer and far less data for you to hold.
How does Challenge-25 work?
Set a buffer so anyone estimated under 25 is routed to a secondary check, keeping you well clear of the under-18 line.
Is any image stored?
No. By default the frame is processed for the age estimate and then discarded.
